Focus and Scope

Madah is a journal published by Balai Bahasa Riau, with P-ISSN 2086-6038 and E-ISSN 2580-9717. This is a scientific journal of language and literature that publishes various reports of research results, literature studies, and scientific papers on language and literature. Madah is published periodically twice a year in April and October. This journal also serves as a medium for disseminating information on research results and language and literature studies.

Peer Review Process

Madahreviewing policies are:

  • Every submitted paper will be reviewed by at least two peer-reviewers;
  • Reviewers are unaware of the identity of the authors, and authors are also unaware of the identity of reviewers;
  • Reviewing process will consider novelty, objectivity, method, scientific impact, conclusion, and references.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...

Article Processing Charges

Every article submitted to will not have any "Article Processing Charges". This includes peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving, and allows immediate access to the full text versions of the articles.

 

Open Access Policy

Madah provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public to supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Plagiarism Check

Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Madah Editorial Board using Grammarly® Plagiarism Checker, in order to ensure there will be no plagiarism in the article.


 

Copy Editing and Proofreading

All articles received by Madah are edited and proofread by language editors to ensure that the articles are written in a scientific and standard language and there are no spelling errors.
